Lawson Cave Falls were "lost" for many years, until a team of researchers finally found them again. These are NOT easy to get to, NOT suitable for kids at all. You need to be experienced in offtrack walking and navigation, walking on wet and slippery rocks. This is not a place the average weekend walker will want to try and get to. There is also a pretty serious downhill and uphill walk to get into this valley, really gets the heart pumping, but then, so do the falls. I do not show the actual location for these as it is best they remain as pristine as possible.
Located in a natural amphitheatre, they are stunning to behold and quite noisy as well. High up on the left before you get to the falls is a camp cave, which is possibly how these falls got their name.
