Isobel Falls is a located near a picnic table on the mostly perennial Isobel Creek, you need to get here straight after good rain or you will see no flow or barely a dribble like I have in my first images. Isobel Creek is very short so the water flows through very quickly and is then gone, I will be back here after the next good downpour to try and capture their true beauty with a good flow.
Still, a nice spot to stop and rest at the picnic table, watch for leaches in the leaf litter.
The falls were given their name after Isobel Kendall Bowden in October 2003, Isobel was a local school teacher, conservationist and local historian.
