These spectacular falls are not often visited as they are not signposted, they are accessed down the Fedral Pass, through Fern Bower, just after crossing in front of Linda Falls, the historical Lindeman Track branches left and the Fedral Pass track continues right and downwards. Lindeman track is a very old walking track and is in ok to average condition, there is a scramble once you get to the falls and need to scramble down an embankment where the old track is a bit worse for wear.
These falls are around 43mtrs high and have been known as Second Fall and Lurline Falls and are fed by Leura Falls Creek, there are still remnants of where the old sewage pipework used to come down these falls into the valley and from my childhood, I do remember a steel ladder here, though, my memory is fuzzy on that one.
The day I was here the sky was almost white with cloud and the wind was howling, I do need to go back for better images. At the top of these falls is a popular "hidden" insta spot, not the easiest or safest to get to, but thats a secret between you and me ok.
