Linda Falls are a very pretty single drop waterfall that is found on the Fedral Pass down a lot of steps and stairs. A bridge crosses Linda creek at the base of the falls and then leads on to Lindeman Pass track or continues down into the valley pas more falls and cascades.
The falls were named after Linda Florence McKillop, Linda's father Duncan was a reserve trustee, discovered the waterfall and named it after his daughter. It must have taken quite a bit of effort to discover these before any walking tracks were ever put in.
The falls are easy to get to as it is a well defined walking track, though can get muddy in places on the way down. You cannot miss them once you arrive, a bench seat is provided a little back from them on the right before the bridge if you wish to stop and take a rest and view the falls in peace and quiet, well, until the next walker comes along.
