Another great set of falls set in a bowl shaped gulley with a big overhang behind them, not quite as pretty as Horseshoe Falls, but still very nice in their own right. I did notice that nearly all the images I have seen of these falls, there is always a fair amount of tree debris at the base, so not sure where that is being washed down from upstream of here.
A very straight forward waterfall with just a single drop onto rocks, not sure if there are Glow Worms living in this overhang or not, have not been back to have a look. Just upstream of here is Lena Falls, but they are a bit more hidden away.
Slightly downstream are a lot of mossy green rocks and boulders that do make for a nice photographic foreground when shooting these falls for a bit of variety. Getting down to these falls is not particularly hard, there is one BIG step down when you leave the top main walking track to negotiate and it can get a bit muddy on the way down but otherwise anyone shouyld be able to reach these falls easily.
Another set of falls that are refreshing to get under and cool off in the heat of summer! Just watch your footing under the falls.
