Dante's Glen is the next set of impressive falls once you have descended down from the Fairy Falls way up above, remember, if you came down here, you have to go back up all those steps, even if you do the entire Empire Pass walk, you will still have to deal with steps and other elevation changes to get back to your starting point. But, it is totally worth it!

As you come down towards the bottom, just before the wobbly bridge (Yeah, it's safe), there is a short side track that puts you on a ledge above the water and sand below giving you a nice different view of the falls from under an overhang. Though the old tyre below was kind of a distraction.

Cross the bridge and head out onto the sand at the bottom of the falls to take these falls in fully, there is a large boulder in the middle of the sand with a lot of names carved into it (Please don't add yours), some of which may be quite old. I believe these falls used to have quite the swimming pool at the bottom, but with a lot of Blue Mountains waterfalls, they are totally silted up now.

Once done here, you are only 5 minutes away from St Michael's Falls a short distance away.
