Burgess fall are the last of the falls if you have come down from all the other waterfalls, or, the first if you are going the circuit in reverse. A very pretty set of falls with multiple cascades and one nice big drop creating some nice flows and silky water goodness for photographers.
To get to these falls, well, the last few mtrs, you can either negotiate the big sloping rock that has a couple of shallow steps cut into it, or, go far right towards to overhang and deal with the icky mustard coloured clay mud, well, there was when I was last there and it takes a lot of effort to wash that stuff off anything it gets onto.
Then you are on a flat sandy beach at the bottom of the falls and getting a super view. Nice and cool down here on a hot day, though the sun can beat down when it is overhead. An easy one for all ages to get to, and if you have come via all the other waterfalls before this one, you can take the higher route up under an overhang as a return track to your departure point. After you pass under the overhang, turn around and you will learn who the falls were named after.
