Glow Worm Nook Falls at Hazelbrook are a detour off the main track and are accessed from Horseshoe Falls up some old stone steps. Glow Worm Nook Falls are 3 waterfalls and all can be accessed reasonably easily.
Top Falls: After you climb the steps from Horseshoe Falls you will come to some steps cut into a stone ledge, to access the top falls, climb the steps and stay right on a track that follow the creek for maybe 60-70mtrs and you will find them easily, it is an easy walk and a nice waterfall.
Middle Falls: Before you climb the cut stone steps, do not climb these steps but go straight ahead 15mtrs or so to see the middle falls. Not as nice as the top or bottom falls.
Bottom Falls: You are going to need to scramble to these, so do not attempt unless you have good scrambling skills and good footwear. My favorite of the 3 waterfalls by far, just past the stone cut steps, you will need to turn right and you will see a natural leaf-covered ramp going down follow that for a few mtrs and then you will turn left and scramble your way to the floor of the gully, then it is an easy walk to the base of the falls. Return the way you came, it can be slippery due to leaf litter.
The top and middle falls are suitable for small children, but probably not so much down to the bottom falls due to the steep and slippery nature of the scramble.
There have been known to be glow worms in an overhang here at the bottom falls, hence the name. Return to Horseshoe Falls the way you came.
