Bridal Veil Falls are one of the more spectacular long drop falls in the Blue Mountains, it has many moods, a raging torrent after heavy rain, a delicate veil as it cascades over so many levels on its way down with moderate flows, and then the windy days where the "veil" is shifted out from the rock by the wind and constantly showers you in its spray.
Easy to get to, but requires some effort with lots of steps and metal stairs, so it is quite a descent down to the main base of the falls, you can get a view from the top from a couple of lookouts, but nothing beats the view at the bottom. So, if you are going to take kids, take the number of stairs and metal steps into consideration, it is a bit of a slog back up to the main walking track. You can go further, but this track is currently closed at the base of the falls.
