Welcome to Roaming Oz

Welcome to the Roaming Oz website, a journal of one Sydney Guy's adventures exploring this vast land we call home - Australia.

If you are looking for a Weekend getaway close to Sydney then you might want to checkout the Sydney Weekend Escapes section of the website, we are adding new escapes from time to time, and we try to keep them within a couple of hours of Sydney. As a new section to go along with Sydney Weekend Escapes, we have added a new section for great Aussie 4WD touring treks.

We recently started a passion project to photograph the named waterfalls in the Blue Mountains of NSW, we are going to be adding to this as an ongoing project, you can view the Blue Mountains Waterfalls Interactive Map or via the Blue Mountains Waterfall Guide page. We hope you enjoy this new area of the website, I will be adding to that constantly.

Feel like taking a hike to see some amazing scenery, go see what hikes we have written up in the Hiking area of the website, we intend to add new hikes as we get time.

If you would like to get in touch, you can do that via the Contact option, we would love to hear what you think of the site etc. If you would like to be notified of when we publish new content, please consider subscribing and you will receive an email when we add something new or update something old. Like us on Facebook as well, we post our updates to there as well. You can now follow us on Instagram and subscribe to our growing YouTube Channel.
